To Place Connector with Link to Existing Connector

This connector placement option allows you to place an off page connector on the current drawing, then link it to an existing connector on drawing selected from the Select File to Link To list.
  1. Select Pipe Run Page from the Connectors gallery. The Connectors Options dialog displays.
  2. Select the Existing Page Connector option.
  3. Enable the Document Filter and select drawing from the drop down list.
Note: As an alternative, you can leave the Enable button unchecked and click Search to search all of the drawings for available connectors.
  4. Click the Search button. The list of connectors in that drawing is displayed in the Available Connectors pane.
  5. Select a connector from the list.
  6. Click OK.
  7. Place the new connector in the active drawing and define the orientation. The connector is placed and a link is established with the connector selected in Step 5.
Note: The Connector Direction of the new connector is determined by the existing connector it is linked to. (Example: If you are linking to an Off Page connector from another drawing, then the new connector will be an On Page connector.)
Note: If the connector is placed at the end of a pipeline in the drawing, then the pipeline's Tag, Run, Size annotation is added to the Connector Direction annotation as well as the target drawing.
  8. Synchronize the changes to the iModel Hub using the Tools > Sync option.
